Description: Fine Brooks Robinson professional model glove with handwritten "my game glove" letter of provenance c.1960s. Rawlings "SM6" "Stan Musial Personal Model" left handed fielder's glove has "Brooks 9" written on the outside in faded vintage black marker. An additional "Snyder" notation likely relates to teammate Russ Snyder with whom he played from 1961-67 and according to family history was presented to Snyder by Robinson for a period of additional use. Well preserved with outstanding usage wear evident throughout. An included handwritten and signed note on lined paper reads, "To Whom It May Concern, This is to certify that this is my game glove, Brooks Robinson." A fixture in the Baltimore Orioles lineup for more than (2) decades, Robinson remains among the more accomplished fielders in baseball history having won (16) consectuive Gold Glove Awards. An exceptional and well documented example with rare first hand player provenance.
