Description: Lou Boudreau "my game used bat" autographed c.1943-49 professional model bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Boudreau facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 36" long and weighs 35.5oz. Model number "S2" has been factory stamped in the knob. Strong evident usage wear with ball and racks marks scattered throughout and some grain swelling due to repeated contact. An outstanding example dating to the period in which he was earned a batting title, numerous All-Star Game appearances, and the 1948 American League MVP award; the same season in which he lead the Cleveland Indians to a World Series Championship.
