Description: Early Edd Roush professional model baseball bat c.1917-21. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with early dash-dot-dash centerbrand has Roush facsimile signature burned into the barrel. It measures 34.75" long and weighs 36.8oz. Well used with ball and contact marks to the barrel which has grain swelling due to repeated contact. A handle crack has been glued down with resulting small chip. There are also a pair of small chips to the knob. A rare early career game bat dating to the period in which Roush collected a pair of batting titles (1917 and 1919) and played on the 1919 Cincinnati Reds Championship team.
