Description: Chicago White Sox related autographed large format display piece c.1940-50s. Oversized circular display piece (33" across) pictures a uniformed White Sox player on front whom is presumed to be catcher Buck Crouse. On the back are (15) signatures incl. Joe DiMaggio, Phil Wrigley, Red Faber, Tony Piet, Luke Appling, Ted Lyons, Ray Schalk, Johnny Mostil, Joe McCarthy, and several non-players. Presumed to relate to a banquet or other function where it was on display with signers likely attendees. The back has been fitted with mat board which has a display window cut to show the autographs. Affixed to this are a number of printed stat sheets and biographies. Mild wear to edges and other isolated areas throughout with some pinholes throughtout front and scratches over the autographs.
