Description: 1913-14 Chicago White Sox and New York Giants World Tour commemorative program plus (2) Damon Runyon autographed books. Seldom offered period publication done just after the return of tour participants and released in 1914 by S.Black Willsden & Co., Chicago. Generously illustrated with pictures throughout along with text detailing the trip. Bound in gilt lettered faux leather with some wear and small tears visible on the heavy paper stock covers and some interior pages; pair of books by Damon Runyon, each signed on the first inside page incl. "Rhymes of The Firing Line" which is inscribed to Jimmy Callahan and "Tents of Trouble" which is inscribed to his wife. Signatures are done in 1910s era fountain pen and rate 8-8/9 out of 10.
