Description: Elston Howard professional model baseball bat c.1955-60. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Howard facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.4oz. Model number "R16" is stamped in the knob. Usage and general surface wear throughout along with a series of dents and divots. An area of discoloration over repaired handle crack suggests that tape was removed. A desirable early career example from a key member of (6) Yankees Championship teams.
