Description: Lou Gehrig professional model baseball bat c.1930-32. Hanna Batrite "Georgia Driver" has the name "Gehrig" block lettered into the barrel along with "11" model number. The bat measures 35" and weighs 34.9oz. Outstanding usage wear evident throughout with ball and cleats marks visible on the barrel. A handle crack has been expertly repaired. The use of Hanna bats by Gehrig, particularly during a period of dispute with Louisville Slugger, is well known. This example is fresh to the hobby and being offered for the first time.
