Description: Exceptional Ty Cobb single signed baseball. Reach W.Harridge Official American League baseball has been signed across the side panel, "From, Ty Cobb." The signature is done in trademark green fountain pen rating 9-9/10 out of 10. Ball displays light even toning with well-defined stampings. This particular baseball was one of two dozen signed back in 1959 for an event hosted GMA Insurance by Mr. James Wavada in Kansas City, MO. The baseballs were given to the attendees of the event with Mr. Wavada retaining the offered example for himself. Universally considered among the greatest players in history, Cobb remains one of baseball's most celebrated and revered figures. Cobb single signed baseballs in high grade condition are among the most desirable of any Hall of Fame inductees with the offered ball ranking among the finest we have handled.
