Description: Bob Meusel professional model baseball bat c.1920s. Spalding brand bat measures 34.75" long and weighs 35.5oz. with the name "B.Meusel" in bold block lettering on the barrel. Although interestingly missing the typically applied centerbrand, the Spalding logo does appear stamped in the knob. Strong usage wear evident throughout with ball, stitch, and cleat marks. There is grain swelling/separation to the back of the barrel due to repeated contact. A handle crack has been secured and the bat has been refinished. Meusel debuted with the Yankees in 1920 and was with the team throughout the decade playing on (6) of their fabled pennant winning teams, (3) of which went on to win World Series Championships. A rare bat from a key "Murderer's Row" player. Includes LOAs from PSA/DNA (graded "GU6"), MEARS ("A7"), and Hunt Auctions: EX
