Description: 1951 Bob Lemon All-Star Game professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat has Lemon facsimile signature and "All Star Game Detroit 1951" burned into the barrel. It measures 35" long and weighs 32.4oz with model number "O16" stamped in the knob. Light evident usage wear with a few scattered ball and cleat marks. Appearing in his fourth All-Star Game, Lemon took to the mound to represent the ill fated American League team in the top of the ninth inning. Pitching around Musial, Robinson, and Hodges, he did not allow the N.L. to add to their 8-3 lead. Of noted rarity, the offered bat originates from the Lemon Collection and is one of a select few professional model examples known.
