Description: New York Jets National Football League "Certificate of Membership" c.1970s. Vintage file copy of the important 1970 dated proclamation which allowed the Jets to operate as an NFL team. Large format document measures approx. 19"x25" with some light age toning and wear within the borders. Unexecuted with no signature on the "Commissioner" line. Found with similar pieces (as issued for other teams), there is a "file copy" notation and 12/78 date written within the border.
