Description: Rare Tennessee Vols collegiate model helmet c.1963. Riddell Kra-Lite suspension helmet has "T" logo decals on either side and orange accent strip running down center ridge. It appears original down to the hardware used in securing the two-bar facemask and u-bar. An "I3" stamping inside suggests manufacture in 1963. A piece of vintage tape with "50" player number notation can be attributed to several players throughout the following seasons incl. Art Galiffa (64), Frank Emanuel (64 and 65), and Paul Naumoff (66 and 67). Emanuel would go on to an NFL career and was later inducted into the Tennessee football Hall of Fame.
