Description: Important January 15, 1967 Curt Gowdy Super Bowl I broadcast "storyboard" sheets with related material. Pair of heavy stock sheets (approx. 10"x13.5") have been meticulously filled out on either side with detailed notes related to players on the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs along with additional information used for color commentary. Prepared by Curt Gowdy for use during his landmark broadcast of the January 15, 1967 AFL-NFL Championship Game which was the first in a string of annual games which were re-christened "The Super Bowl" several years later. Conscientiously retained by an associate of Gowdy's whom understood their importance at the time, the sheets remain preserved in essentially the same state in which they left the broadcast booth, with some light scattered toning and wear to corners/edges. Included are a pre-printed (on both sides) press informational card, "NBC AFL" promotional publication, (3) 8"x10" vintage photographs showing Gowdy in broadcast booth (one of which he had signed on the back in ink rating 8 out of 10), image of the NBC broadcast team with players incl.
