Description: 1966 Raymond Berry Baltimore Colts player's contract. Original "National Football League Standard Players Contract" as executed between Berry and the Baltimore Colts retaining his services for the 1966 season. Signed "Raymond E. Berry" on the player line with the team's Executive Vice President above. Ink signatures rate 8 out of 10, contract itself has fold lines from storage and a touch of other light wear. Berry was winding down his Hall of Fame career which included play on the Colts 1958 and 59 Championship teams, (6) Pro-Bowl selections, and a place within Baltimore folklore as one of those who came to define football in that City. Later named number (40) on The Sporting News list of the 100 Greatest Players of All-Time, his number has been retired by the Colts. NFL Player contracts are notably rare with this being one of a scant few, and certainly among the most notable, we have seen or offered.
