Description: Rare 1947 Cleveland Browns vs. Chicago Rockets large format advertising broadside. Oversized piece done on heavy stock was issued to promote the AAFC game which took place in Cleveland. The Browns defeated Chicago and would go on to claim their second consecutive League Championship. Large mounting holes at edges have resulted in missing pieces of material and there is additional loss at lower right. A horizontal crease appears through the center with another below. In addition, there are some tears and a puncture. Despite noted issues, display value is impressive with this being one of only a handful of substantive advertising pieces of such size we have seen as relates to this important early League: GD (See description)Estimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
