Description: Very fine Gale Sayers autographed original painting by William Barringer c.1970s. Original oil on canvas rendering of Sayers depicted in Chicago Bears uniform running with the football skillfully executed by noted Stuart, Iowa artist William Barringer. The painting displays striking use of color and form with proper proportions capturing Sayers preparing to explode past the defense with a dynamic run. Neatly signed in black sharpie by Sayers at lower left with artist signature "Barringer" at bottom right. 28"x35" presented in its original black painted wooden frame with original artist's labeling affixed the reverse.
