Description: Lydell Mitchell Baltimore Colts professional model jersey c.1972-73. Rookie era jersey done in blue with shoulder stripe accents has number "26" on front, back, and sleeves. In addition, there is an "L. Mitchell" nameplate on back. "Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag on the front tail notes size, "44." Jersey displays useage and wash wear. One of the best all-around running backs of the 1970s, Mitchell played a key role on (3) consecutive AFC East title winning Colts teams. He was selected to (3) Pro-Bowl teams having rushed for (1,000+) yards in each of those seasons and twice lead the League in pass receptions. A nice, early career example, in exemplary condition.
