Description: Baltimore Colts professional model helmet with attribution to Raymond Berry c.1960s. Riddell Kra-Lite helmet finished in white has Colts team logo decals applied at either side along with blue accent stripe. "TK-2" label remains inside (portions worn off) along with an "82" vintage marker notation. Heat impressed date code indicates that the helmet was factory refurbished in 1970 following earlier use. Number "82" decals appear on back; replacements which enhance display value and add recognizability as a Berry attributed piece. A strap of the suspension style interior bears handwritten "16-72" notation and scattered wear (some underneath the number decals) suggest use by another player after refurbishment. Vintage clips hold in place a 1970s ear facemask and the chinstrap is MacGregor brand. Obtained by Duke Hott directly from a former equipment Manager and offered in the same state and condition in which it was received. Fine example for display with attribution to a marquis player. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and letter of provenance from Duke Hott: EX
