Description: 1939 Centennial of Baseball broadside. Rare original heavy stock advertising poster featuring "Uncle Sam" batter graphic displayed over the Centennial logo. Intended for use as needed, areas at extreme top and bottom, and a larger in the lower half, are blank and game information has been seen printed on in other examples which have surfaced. Displays nicely in a tasteful 15"x23" frame, the sign is in two pieces and has chips to lower left corner of upper half and lower right of the bottom. In addition, there are tears to the side of each chip which can be seen when viewing up close.
