Description: Rare Christy Mathewson Baseball Magazine advertising poster c.1910s. Period store advertising poster pictures Mathewson in classic form with "This Poster+with the July Baseball Magazine" tagline below. Done on thick paper stock which has a semi-gloss finish and measures 12.5"x24" overall. Exceptional display value with corner and edge wear largely covered by matting and some creases and wrinkles having limited effect. A pencil notation on back confered 1910 date. The first example we are aware to have been offered which is almost certainly among a scant surviving population given dating and fragility: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$4,000)
