Description: Superb Thurman Munson professional model baseball bat c.1974 (Bat Boy provenance). Adirondack model 302 bat measures 35" long and weighs 34.3 oz. "Thurman Munson" stamped in block lettering across the barrel end with model #257A stamped on knob end. Vintage "15" written on end of knob indicative of Munson's uniform number. The bat itself exhibits tremendous use including ball marks, stitching impressions, pine tar residue, cleat marks, evidence of weighted batting donut, and handle crack. Originally obtained directly from the Yankees batboy at a game in 1974 the offered example has remained with the recipient and is being offered for the first time publicly.
