Description: Lefty O'Doul professional model Coaching era baseball bat c.1950s. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with O'Doul facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 37oz. Model number "O1" is factory stamped in the knob and a wooden peg insert on barrel end suggests that it was likely weighted. Uncracked with heavy use and surface wear throughout along with discoloration. An important figure in baseball relative to both the Major and Pacific Coast Leagues, O'Doul was instrumental in introducing the game to Japan and is a member of their Hall of Fame.
