Description: 1949 Cleveland Indians professional model road pants as worn by Satchel Paige. Grey flannel road pants with red piping retaining their MacGregor/Goldsmith tagging on interior waistband along with "Minoso 18" chain stitched strip tag and "Set 1 1949" flag tag. Pants were worn by Minoso and then Satchel Paige until passed along to Mickey Vernon for use. Pronounced "PAIGE" written in period marker on interior waist band in what appears to be Paige's own hand. Interesting and very rare uniform piece with rich history and direct provenance to the personal collection of Mickey Vernon.
