Description: Fine 1961 Bill Mazeroski Pittsburgh Pirates professional model home jersey. Cream color vest style flannel jersey retains it original "Pirates" team lettering across the front with "9" on the reverse. Rawlings tagging affixed to tail front along with "Mazeroski 44 61" chain stitched in black. Dry clean tag with "Set 1 1961" set tag inside tail front. The shirt show superb use and wash wear while retaining a striking original visual appearance. Signed by Mazeroski in blue sharpie across the tail front. Bill Mazeroski remains to date one of the most revered names in Pirates team history most notably for his iconic walk off home run on game #7 of the 1960 World Series. One of the finest specimens of a Mazeroski game jersey that we have handled in addition to numbering as one of a scant few documented exemplars from the 1960s era.
