Description: Joe DiMaggio professional model team ordered baseball bat c.1951-52. Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with DiMaggio facsimile signature burned into the barrel end measures 36" long and weighs 32.6oz. Model "H117" is stamped in the knob which bears a small "34" pencil notation representing factory weight at time of manufacture. Nice usage wear is displayed with ball and stitch marks visible on the left barrel along with rack marks. The handle has been taped for grip and a 10"x 1.25" section of the reverse barrel has been repaired/restored. This particular model appears on the Yankees "team index" record of bats ordered during the labeling period displayed and was produced to the same specifications as those ordered by DiMaggio personally earlier in his career. Included PSA/DNA documentation concludes by stating, "it is our opinion the bat is an authentic professional model...and was team ordered by the New York Yankees or another Major League franchise...use by DiMaggio cannot be confirmed.
