Content reads in part, "I wish to thank you for your interest and understanding. I find it most gratifying to know that there are people who think and feel as you do..." It has been relayed by our consignor that it was written in response to a fan whom had scolded him over a verbal exchange with Leo Durocher during which Robinson brought up his wife, Lorraine Day.
