Description: Kid Nichols and the 1895 Kansas City Championship bowling team photograph with other c.1930s bowling material. Includes photograph of the 1895 Kansas City Championship bowling team with Nichols; small enameled metal charm on ribbon which is engraved on back, "Kid Nichols High 30 1931-32"; 1939 dated letter to Nichols on attractive "Pal-Mor" stationery; numerous bowling related photographs, a portion of which include Nichols himself. Most have been mounted to a pair of period scrapbook pages and Nichols has handwritten a date on two and a caption on another (caption includes block letter printed "Nichols" last name as part of the text). Mounted to back of one page is a signed 8"x10" photo of noted bowler Jimmy Smith inscribed to a Nichols family member. Varying degrees of wear throughout.
