Description: Ted Williams single signed baseball with extremely rare career related inscriptions. Rawlings B.Brown OAL baseball has been signed on the sweetspot, "Ted Williams 9 Outfielder" in blue ink rating 9 to 9/10 out of 10. In addition, Williams has inscribed "Boston Red Sox" below his signature and "1946 World Series" on the panel above. Ball has a few extremely light isolated spots of toning mentioned for accuracy. Williams signed balls bearing additional handwriting are extremely scarce. The pieces offered in this sale are some of the few we have seen or offered in over 20 years (inclusive of the handling of material from the Williams' Estate).
