Description: Los Angeles Rams professional model football helmet attributed to Tom Fears c.1950s. Rare Riddell helmet having painted Rams yellow horns on each side panel. Retains its original interior leather ear padding along with Riddell Suspension helmet padding. Period linen tape affixed to interior with "7" written in faded black marker. The helmet exhibits fine heavy use while remaining in original unrestored condition. Signed by Fears across the top in blue sharpie with "HOF 70" notation. Very fine game helmet from the legendary Rams HOF player. Includes LOAs from Hunt Auctions (helmet), auction LOA from JSA (autograph), and signed letter of provenance from Tom Fears: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($3,000-$5,000)
