Description: Cal Ripken Jr autographed professional model baseball bat c.1991-1997. Louisville Slugger baseball bat with Ripken Jr facsimile signature and model number "P72" impressed in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.8 oz. Uncracked with evidence of strong usage wear inclusive of visible ball, stitch, and cleat marks as well as ball stamping transfer marks and grain swelling (due to repeated contact). Very light coat of pine tar remains on handle and the number "8" is written on knob in vintage silver paint pen. Signed on the barrel, "Cal Ripken Jr" rating 9 to 9/10 out of 10 in a well defined style that Ripken has not employed in some time. Outstanding example relative to dating period.
