Description: Babe Ruth portrait photograph c.1920s. Sepia toned portrait measuring approximately 5"x7" shows Ruth posed in early 1920s Yankees garb offering a boyish smile to the camera. Mild scattered wear is largely confined to edges with exception of a small tear at left edge and slightly larger tear/crease to upper right corner. It appears some mask has been professionally removed from the front though a letter "J" (likely used in publication) remains. Back is stamped with early version of "International" markings and bears handwritten identifier. Closely resembles a classic shot attributed to noted photographer Paul Thompson: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
