Description: 1911 World Series ticket stub (at Philadelphia). Desirable original ticket stub issued for game "2A" played at Shibe Park between the Athletics and Giants. Presumably, the stub relates to the second game played at Shibe which would be the 4th Series game overall taking place on October 24th. Chief Bender bested the venerable Christy Mathewson and a period fountain pen notation on back reads "When Matty was taken out."
