Description: "Louisville Mascot" baseball bat related archive lot c.1910s-1920s. Rare group of materials pertaining to the obscure Hilton Collins Co. Louisville bat manufacturer to include: 1920s Louisville Mascot baseball bat catalogue which pictures various player models including decal bats on the interior. Catalogue has some fading (mostly to the covers) from moisture exposure: GD/VG; cache of endorsement letters regarding the Louisville Mascot brand of bat including two 1919 Knights of Columbus BBC signed letters, Lowe & Cambell typed letter signed by George Lowe, and 1922 Fred Bailey signed letter (Boston Braves 1916-1918): Range VG-EX/MT; and a rare enameled hanging window sign advertising Louisville Mascot brand bats c.1920's. 6"x9" retaining its original Whitehead & Hoag manufacturer's label on the back. Surface has a few minor edge flakes and there is a missing section of lower left corner. Very rare early baseball display sign was originally offered direct from the archives of Hillerich & Bradsby Co.: EX
