Description: Exceedingly rare Spalding baseball bat display rack sign c.1915-1920. Color lithographed circular metal marquis with the famed Company logo at center advertising, "Spalding Athletic Goods For Sale Here." One of a select number known, it remains as recently found in the New England area, all original, mounted at center flange and via (1) support leg to a portion of original period wooden rack. Areas of surface loss/chipping are more pronounced at edges and the majority falls within the red colored circular border.
