Description: Early Philadelphia Athletics c.1908-1915 uniform logo patch attributed to Jack Lapp with period photo. Blue on white felt stylized "A" team logo believed to have come from an early style Athletics jersey. Logo stands approximately 8" tall and is just under 6" across at widest point with mild toning, some small moth holes, and evident use/wear. Housed in framed display (16.5"x23") with period oversized photograph (mounted to board) of player Jack Lapp (VG-VG/EX with some light creasing visible) and descriptive nameplate. It has been relayed by our consignor that the piece was obtained directly from a Lapp family descendant.
