Description: 1947-1948 Willard Brown signed Cangrejeros de Santurce Player's Contract (Triple Crown season). Desirable contract retaining the services of Hall of Famer Willard Brown to play Winter League baseball. In a season that lasted just (60) games, against competition that included some of the very best talent in the world, Brown hit (27) home runs (a standing record in all of Puerto Rican Winter League ball with Reggie Jackson's 20 in 1970-1971 being the closest anyone has come), drove in (86) runs (third all time with his 97 hit two years later being first), and hit .432 to win the League's Triple Crown. He would repeat with another during the 1949-1950 season. "Liga Profesional de Baseball de Puerto Rico" document has been signed on the interior "Willard J. Brown" in fountain pen rating 8/9 out of 10 with his thumbprint added to the left. Also signed twice by team owner and President Pedro Zorilla.
