Description: 1980 Philadelphia Phillies World Series trophy presented to Bobby Wine. Original high quality figural trophy fashioned after the full sized version representing one of the most recognizable and desirable Championship season mementos. Those with direct provenance to team personnel are seldom offered with this example being one of only a handful to reach the market. Stands 12" tall with a series of team name lettered brass pennants circling the perimeter of a black plinth base. Set atop are a pair of World Series press pins and brass hoop with crown finial. Band which encircles the base has been lettered "World Series Champions Philadelphia Phillies 1980 Bobby Wine" at front. Original "Awards by Balfour" label remains affixed to underside. Remains clean overall with little to no wear and a touch of nearly incidental oxidization to metal portions.
