Description: Pair of baseball figural statues by P.Testi c.1950s. Desirable original bronze/copper plated figural statues depicting a 1910 era batsman in a batting stance and pitcher in windup pose. The statues are signed by artist "P.Testi, New York" and were cast after the original renderings in the 1910 period by noted New York metalwork foundry of P.Mori. The figurals retain a fine original patina with excellent detail and features. There is some typical light patination to the copper surfaces. 9 1/2" tall with original "Galvano Bronze, Gotham Art Bronze" metal labeling under the base.
