Description: Bobby Shantz professional model baseball glove c.1961. Rawlings model XPGS as used by Shantz during his brief one year tenure with the Pirates in 1961. Left hand throwing glove exhibits appropriate light to moderate use with vintage faded "SHANTZ" written on back of glove. The offered glove was given to Bill Mazeroski directly by Bobby Shantz in the period and has remained in his personal collection since that point.
