Description: Allen University baseball team photograph c.1910s. Cabinet mounted sepia toned photograph of an early team of African American students. Players can be seen in period uniforms with equipment and are joined by a number of well dressed personnel and mascot. Photo wear confined to edges (small tears and chip at lower left) and a touch of mild silvering with toned upper right corner. Mount has scattered wear and scuffing along with some heavy creases (lower right corner is secured on by tape) and has "Johnston's Studios" raised seal at lower right: GD-VGEstimated Price Range: ($250-$500)
