Description: Rare 1948 Glenn Elliott Boston Braves professional model silk uniform. Exceedingly rare style was worn by the club in night games played during their National League Championship 1948 season. Cream colored jersey with red trim accents has "Braves" team name across the front in scripted logo font above their tomahawk logo. Player number "37" appears on back. In the collar are an embroidered strip tag reading "Glenn Elliott" and the "Horace Partridge" manufacturer's tag. It appears an additional (likely size) tag has been removed or otherwise fallen out. Matching pants have Patridge tag and adjacent size "38" flag tag along with "Extra 38" embroidered strip tag. Evident usage wear throughout with some mild/appropriate scuffs/pulls.
