Description: Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella, 1948 (acetate negative). In the season which followed Robinson's historic 1947 campaign, Campanella became the second African American on the Dodgers roster. Among the other distinctions the pair would share: the first African American players to win Most Valuable Player Awards and the first and second to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Vintage negative (approximately 3.25"x4.5") displaying little to no wear to central/image area with a touch of light wear at edges (including small indentation at upper right).
