Description: Choice Wade Boggs autographed professional model baseball bat c.1991-1992. Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat has "Wade Boggs" facsimile signature burned into the barrel end along with block letter "Boston Red Sox" team name and "B349" model number. Measures approximately 33.75" long with cupped end and weighs 30.3oz. The lower hitting surface is covered in ball transfer and stitch marks and the barrel displays appropriate grain swelling. Trademark Boggs pine tar application remains at both handle and mid-barrel. Number "26" is written on the knob in black marker. Obtained directly from Boggs by Dennis Brearley during his time as the Red Sox team photographer. Includes black and white photograph (framed, 7.25"x10.25") of Boggs dating to the 1992 season in which he is using a bat with similar characteristics visible. Both pieces have been signed in marker rating 7 to 8 out of 10, bat has been inscribed, "To Dennis, Best Wishes." Exceptional example with regard to usage wear, first hand provenance, and overall eye appeal.
