Description: Babe Ruth Professional model baseball bat c.1921-1931. Desirable Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat having Ruth facsimile signature burned into the barrel. Bat weighs 40 oz. and measures 34" long; an inch shorter than those which are listed within his factory ordering records. Ruth was quoted in a period Louisville Slugger yearbook mentioning occasional use of bats shorter than 35". Usage wear is evident throughout with scattered ball transfer/contact marks. It appears some deadwood and some other minor imperfections have been expertly repaired. Fine example for display.
