Description: Ty Cobb autographed check to the IRS with related stub. Personal check dated April 14, 1930 and filled out by Ty Cobb to the "Collector of Internal Revenue" in the amount of $103.96. Affixed to the check are two "stubs" from Cobb's checkbook, also filled out in his hand, recording the transaction as well as the previously written check. Signature and handwriting rate 8 to 9 out of 10. Light typical handling, bank cancellation markings and stub portion has irregular tear and slit. Framed for display with a limited edition (#264/5000) silver gelatin photograph of Ty Cobb produced from an original glass negative dated 1915. Measures 24 1/2"x18" overall.
