Description: Early "Base Ball" cigar box c.1890s-1900s. Wooden cigar box with charming color lithographed game action scene on interior lid which is titled "Base Ball" at top and noted "Manufactured by B.F. Honsinger St. Thomas" at bottom. Below is the printed tag line, "Smoke Base Ball Cigars." Lid remains the most well preserved area of the box overall some mild moisture staining and other light wear. Similar game scene (slightly smaller and cropped) appears on one end but shows toning and some damage/loss. Lid has impressed "Base Ball" titling which is missing some of the original silver inlay. Balance of box has general heavy wear and staining with evidence of moisture exposure and a few small splits to wood: GD-VGEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
