Description: 1981 Baseball All-Star Game ring (at Cleveland). The 1981 All-Star Game remains the most well attended in history as 72,086 fans crowded Cleveland Stadium to watch the National League win on a Mike Schmidt (2) run home run. Original ring as presented to Bob Wirz has powder blue stone at top face accented by (3) CZ stones on each side. Beveled edge reads "Baseball All Star" on outside and "American National" on inside. Left shank has "1981 All Star Game" at center with "Wirz" name bar above and "Cleveland" below. Right has the the American League and National League logos along with the MLB logo below. Interior band is marked "Balfour Celestrium." Ring is size 9 1/2 and displays a touch of light wear. Defined line at bottom suggests it has been resized: EX/MT-NM
