Description: Rare Philadelphia Phillies professional quality cold weather jacket c.1940s. Exceptionally well preserved early jacket of the highest quality construction with lined red wool body accented in red/white/blue trim. Stylized blue on white felt "P" logo on front chest and the classic "Phillies" period team logo appears on back. "Wilson" manufacturers tag in collar (two small holes) has adjacent size "48" indicator. Light usage wear evident throughout with no major flaws. Zipper pull (included) is no longer affixed.
