Description: Rare Jackie Robinson Civil Rights Rally advertising display c.1960s. Paper stock (9"x12.5") handbill style advertisement issued as promotion for a "Flash Civil Rights Rally" in Philadelphia at which Jackie Robinson was present. The event was held at Moose Hall, since renamed The Blue Horizon, which is a noted historical site with its marker reading in part, "known as the center of African-American Community life" (in the period). Well preserved with light scattered wear, some wrinkling, and several horizontal folds. Small toned strip at center and one area of minor soiling above lower printed image.
