Description: Rare New York Yankees cold weather jacket c.1950s. Blue wool letterman's jacket has "Yankees" team name across the front in scripted logo font. Interior is satin lined and there are blue/white trim accents throughout. Front pockets are leather reinforced. Size "42" is noted on small interior tag which also has handwritten pair of initials. Jacket is of extremely high quality construction and similar/same in design to those in which the Yankees are pictured during the later portion of the 1950s. Evident usage wear throughout with some scattered soiling discoloration and a repair cuff of one sleeve. Team name across front has a few small spots of loss.
